Although I firmly believe that trainers need to have a physique that will meet specific standards, some of the best trainers look pretty average! Look at it this way! Would you prefer that your trainer reads Sports Science literature a couple of hours a week or spend that time lifting weights? Then ask yourself, how can him lifting weights benefit me vs. him reading a couple of hundred pages per week!

Even though not all trainers document their client journeys, I feel that it is essential that your trainer has ways to show you that he has helped dozens of people in his career! It can be through testimonials, body transformation images, etc. We should be aware that some clients might not be comfortable with making their before and after pics here in the Middle East, but at least trainers should have written testimonials to back up their claims of being able to help you reach your goals!
