How much weight can I lose in a month?
How much weight you lose in a month will depend on your metabolic rate, your total caloric intake, sleeping patterns, number of activities, and other factors. You can lose even up to 8 kilograms monthly, but that is not healthy and sustainable. We usually see the best long-term results with people that lose up to 600gm per week.
Does weight loss require me to feel hungry?
To drop weight, you have to be in a caloric deficit, naturally making you feel hungry, but you should not starve all the time! If that happens, you are in too big of a deficit, and it won't be sustainable. To avoid the feeling of hunger, you can increase the intake of fibers, liquids, fats, and proteins, but you still need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight.
Can I lose weight and build muscle mass simultaneously in a caloric deficit?
Yes, you can; if you have little training experience and start resistance training, you will simultaneously build muscle and lose weight. If you are more experienced, you will have to be in a caloric surplus to build muscle while in a deficit to lose weight. Nutrition coaching can help you find the perfect balance of macros to feel satisfied while still losing weight.
